MSC Cruises is one of the only cruise lines that will match your loyalty status from another cruise line. It’s called MSC Status Match and the rewards you get for registering are totally worth it!
What does this mean?
Well, if you’ve never cruised with MSC Cruises before, but you’re a member of another cruise line, hotel, or tour operator’s loyalty scheme (Eg. Royal Caribbean’s Crown & Anchor Society, Norwegian Cruise Line’s Lattitudes programme, Carnival’s VIFP Club), depending on the number of nights you’ve cruised with your most loyal brand, MSC Status Match will pair you up with MSC’s corresponding loyalty tier. That means you could be an MSC Voyagers Club Black member – the highest possible tier – before you even step foot on your first MSC cruise!

How to apply:
For UK residents, visit the MSC Status Match page, where you will have to print, fill out, scan, and email a registration form, attached with evidence of your loyalty status – this could either be a screenshot of your loyalty programme’s member’s area, showing your membership number and tier, or a scanned copy of a physical loyalty card, or cruise card.
Once completed, email the form to StatusMatch@msccruises.co.uk, and you should receive your new membership status within two weeks.

Countries not listed above are not eligible for the MSC Status Match programme.
To keep your new status, you need to ensure that you sail with MSC at least once every three years, otherwise you will revert back to the beginning loyalty level – but this rule applies to all MSC Voyagers Club members, not just those who’ve used MSC Status Match.
It may seem like a complex task, but the small amount of effort required is worth it for the rewards you’ll now receive!
