MSC Virtuosa: New Entertainment Announced with Dirty Dancing in Concert

MSC Virtuosa

MSC Cruises has unveiled a refreshed entertainment program for MSC Virtuosa, beginning this summer. A key feature of the new offerings is the introduction of ‘Dirty Dancing in Concert’, a live-to-film concert experience based on the popular film.

This new show will premiere on MSC Virtuosa on 10 July, following its initial debut on MSC World America, MSC Cruises’ latest vessel, which launches next month.

Passengers will have multiple opportunities to experience “Dirty Dancing: In Concert” during each MSC Virtuosa voyage, including a matinee performance on sea days. The 90-minute show will feature a complete band, vocalists, and dancers performing the film’s iconic songs. The experience will conclude with an energetic finale, inviting guests to participate and sing along.

MSC Virtuosa’s entertainment schedule will also include “Songbook Abba” (featuring ABBA’s hit songs), “Starwalker” (highlighting Michael Jackson’s music), and “Hall of Fame” (a live concert celebrating pop music legends). Guests aboard MSC Virtuosa will also enjoy new shows in the Carousel Lounge, MSC Street Theatre pop-up performances throughout the ship, a variety of new daytime activities for all ages, and LEGO-themed family games and activities.

“Providing an impressive array of spectacular entertainment options for every type of guest around the clock is key to creating an unforgettable cruise experience. MSC Virtuosa is an incredible platform for pushing the boundaries of entertainment at sea. We’re thrilled to introduce brand-new daytime and evening headline events that will leave our guests in awe. We’re particularly excited about the premiere of ‘Dirty Dancing: In Concert’, ‘Hall of Fame’ and our newest Carousel Productions Cirque shows, which will both debut this summer in the Theatre,” said Steve Leatham, Vice President of Entertainment at MSC Cruises.

Guests can experience this new entertainment line-up this summer as MSC Virtuosa sails in Europe. The ship will homeport from Southampton, offering cruises to the Norwegian Fjords, Northern European Cities, Canary Islands, and the Atlantic coast of Europe.
