SeaDream To Offer First UK Cruise Departure Next Month

SeaDream Yacht Club is to operate the first passenger departure from the UK since the country entered lockdown in March.

The small-ship cruise line has been operating cruises in Norway over the summer and is planning to offer a brand-new season of round-trip voyages in Barbados from November 2020 to April 2021.

As part of this new season, SeaDream Yacht Club is offering an Atlantic Crossing voyage which will depart from Portsmouth on 19th October 2020 for a 17-day journey. SeaDream I will sail from Portsmouth, visiting Madeira, Kingstown and Mayreau, before disembarking in Bridgetown. Fares start from £2,768pp. The Foreign & Commonwealth Office advice remains unchanged, and still advises Britons against cruise ship travel.

SeaDream have been enhancing effective protocols onboard since June when they resumed operations. From PCR testing by trained crew to electrostatic fogging of luggage and public spaces and UV-C treatment of accommodations daily.
