Uniworld Launches New River Brand To Appeal To Millennials 

Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection is to launch a new brand targeted towards young travellers.

U by Uniworld will aim to attract 18 to 40 year old cruisers, through adventurous experiences, contemporary decor, and a vibrant atmosphere onboard. 

“U by Uniworld will deliver the same superb quality of authenticity and personalisation that the Uniworld brand is celebrated for, while offering a new way for exploratory, younger travellers to experience the pulse of Europe,” said Ellen Bettridge, President & CEO of Uniworld. “We are targeting an active traveller between the ages of 18 and 40, with everything from the décor, dining and cocktail service to the land activities thoughtfully curated to appeal to, and meet the needs of, this audience.”

River Baroness and River Ambassador, two of Uniworld’s existing ships, will receive a complete refurbishment tailored towards the new brand. The ships will feature contemporary decor, offer plenty of open spaces, a new culinary programme, creative drink mixologists and lively DJs. 

The itineraries, will feature longer stays in port, so guests can explore the cultural sights in the day, and enjoy the nightlife ashore in the evening. 

Guests will be able to book U by Uniworld cruises from March 2017, with the first cruise setting sail in early 2018.
