Seabourn’s upcoming ship, Seabourn Ovation, will spend her debut season sailing the waters of the Mediterranean and Northern Europe.
Following the recent christening of sister ship Seabourn Encore, Seabourn has announced the maiden voyage of Seabourn Ovation will depart Venice on May 5, and embark on a 35-day ‘European Ovation’ sailing, which will visit 27 ports of call, including visits to Dubrovnik, Croatia; Portimao, Portugal; the Isles of Scilly and Dartmouth in the United Kingdom. The cruise will conclude in Amsterdam.
The ship will then offer a 14-day ‘Midsummer Baltic’ cruise to Copenhagen, with highlights including visits to Hamburg, Germany; a transit of the Kiel Canal, Szczecin, Poland; Stockholm, Sweden; Turku, Finland; and Visby, Sweden.
Cruises to St Petersburg, and Norway are also available.
A 14-day cruise from Copenhagen will visit Newcastle, Newhaven, Invergordon, Scrabster, and Lerwick in the UK.
A 30-day ‘Viking Realm Exploration’ cruise will explore various ports in Norway and the British Isles, including Portland, Falmouth, Fishguard, Liverpool, Killybegs, Belfast, Great Yarmouth, and concluding in Dover. The ship will then make its way back to Venice ready for its winter deployment, which is yet to be announced.
“We are very excited to begin taking reservations and building anticipation for the diverse range of itineraries for the maiden season of Seabourn Ovation, and we look forward to providing guests with opportunities to explore some of the most culturally significant, naturally beautiful, and thoroughly enjoyable destinations within Europe on the world’s newest ultra-luxury ship,” said Seabourn’s President, Richard Meadows. “Seabourn Ovation will continue the new standard of ultra-luxury cruising that can only be found on Seabourn. We can’t wait to welcome our guests on board.”
