Seabourn Could Base Ship In Australia Next Year

Carnival Australia has announced its luxury cruise brand, Seabourn, was in advanced talks to deploy a cruise ship in Australia.

The Australian reports that the company is looking for a longer deployment of a Seabourn ship in Australia from next year, for at least part of the year.

The news comes on the day that Seabourn’s newest ship, Seabourn Encore, made its maiden visit to Sydney.

Ann Sherry, Carnival Australia’s executive chairman, also revealed they were looking at bringing Cunard ships to Australia for three months in 2019.

Seabourn will launch a sister-ship to Seabourn Encore, in 2018, called Seabourn Ovation.
