Royal Princess has become the first Princess Cruises ship to sail with the line’s new “seawitch” hull branding.

The multi-week refit at a drydock in Palermo also saw Royal Princess, launched in 2013 by the Duchess of Cambridge, receive a midships stairwell – an addition many passengers will be pleased about.

The ship will embark guests in Civitavecchia on October 8, for a 14-night transatlantic crossing to Fort Lauderdale, where it will spend the winter months sailing to the Caribbean.
