Russia’s largest river cruise company, Vodohod, is to build a new 342-passenger river cruise ship.
Due to launch in 2020, the four-deck-high 141 metre ship, currently named ‘PV 300’, will operate ten- and eleven-night cruises between Moscow and St. Petersburg, with visits to Uglich, Yaroslavl, Goritsy, Kizhi and Mandrogui.
Construction on the new five-star ship will begin at the Krasnoye Sormovo shipyard in 2019, with the first cruise departing from Moscow on May 12, 2020.
All cabins will feature French balconies, and rooms will range from 19m2 up to 30m2 in the two exclusive suites. The ship will feature a pub, panoramic lounge bar, restaurant, conference room, library, children’s room, and a spa and salon.
