43 new balconies have been added to Celestyal Cruises’ 1,016-passenger Celestyal Crystal.
26 balconies were installed on Deck 6 and a further 17 were added on Deck 7, while the ship was docked in Piraeus as part of a 20 day refurbishment, which also saw various onboard venues renovated.
Kyriakos Anastassiadis, CEO of Celestyal Cruises, said:
“These balconies are part of an extensive refurbishment program to continually elevate the quality of our brand and to ensure we are delivering a positive passenger experience on all of our vessels.
“We hired expert Greek shipbuilders here in Piraeus to complete the necessary work on Celestyal Crystal, and the level of craftsmanship is further proof of the quality of maritime construction available in our country. We are tremendously pleased with the results.”
Meanwhile, work continues on upgrading Celestyal Olympia. Celestyal Nefeli will be refurbished before joining the fleet in February 2016.
