Princess Cruises announced today that their newest ship, Majestic Princess will debut a new livery design featuring the cruise line’s logo.
Majestic Princess which is scheduled to launch in May 2017 will be the first ship in the fleet to have the new livery added to her bow. The design will be added to the other ships in the Princess Cruises fleet over the next few years.
Jan Swartz, President of Princess Cruises said:
“For nearly half a century our Princess logo has represented the adventure of cruise travel around the globe. Now our ships sail to more than 360 ports of call worldwide and will be instantly recognized from afar. As the very first cruise ship built for China, we take great pride that the Magestic Princess is our first ship to proudly display our new livery design.”
Today a significant milestone in the construction of Majestic Princess was also reached, when the ship was floated out at the dock at the Fincantieri shipyard in Monfalcone, Italy. A traditional ceremony marked the moment the ship touched the water for the first time.
