Former NCL Boss, Kevin Sheehan, Returns To The Cruise Industry

The former Norwegian Cruise Line CEO, Kevin Sheehan, has made a return to the cruise industry after purchasing a stake in Paradise Cruise Line.

According to The Palm Beach Post, Sheehan, along with entrepreneur Oneil Khosa, is among the owners of a new cruise line, Paradise Cruise Line. Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line was sold to the new operators on December 22.

Paradise Cruise Line will continue to operate sailings to the Bahamas aboard the 1,250-passenger Grand Celebration from Palm Beach.

According to Khosa, the company plans to increase cruise operations and introduce further capacity with a second ship in the future.

The cruise line currently operates two-night sailings to Freeport, but four-night sailings could also be introduced.

The ex-Ibero Cruceros vessel, Grand Celebration, has operated out of Palm Beach since January 2015, when the Bahamas Celebration ran aground in October 2014. The ship has since been sold for scrap.
