Cruise & Maritime Voyages has announced two new departure ports to compliment its previously released 2018 cruise programme.
Astoria will offer several sailings from Poole – the first being a three-night Seine cruise on August 31, 2018.
A ten-night ‘Grand British Isles Discovery’ cruise departing September 3, 2018, will visit Dunkirk in France, the Orkney Islands, Stornoway, Tobermory, and an overnight in Fort William, where it will continue on to Belfast, Dublin, Cobh, Glengarriff and the Isles of Scilly.
The ship will also offer a ten-night Fjords cruises, and an overnight party cruise to Portsmouth.
One of the worlds oldest passenger ships, Astoria, will offer four sailings from Portsmouth.
A nine-night Norwegian Fjords cruise departs September 16, and visits Ijmuiden, Eidfjord, Flåm, Geiranger, Bergen, and Rotterdam.
September 25 sees a 13-night “Baltic Cities & St. Petersburg” cruise depart. Astoria will make am afternoon transit of the Kiel Canal, where it will arrive in its first port of call, Warnemünde. The ship continues to Tallinn, and then St. Petersburg, where guests will stay overnight. The ship also visits Helsinki, Nynashamn, an early morning transit of the Kiel Canal before arriving in Rotterdam, the final port of call.
On October 8, Astoria visits Rotterdam, Hamburg, Copenhagen, Aalborg, and Kristiansand as part of a nine-night “European Rivers, Canals & Cities” cruise. The sailing also includes a transit of the Kiel Canal.
Astoria’s final sailing from Portsmouth will be a two-week cruise chasing the Northern Lights, departing October 17, 2018. Astoria will visit Ijmuiden, Bergen, Åndalsnes, Tromsø, Honningsvåg, an overnight in Alta, before continuing to Ålesund and Stavanger.
