Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines is advising all passengers due to embark Balmoral in Southampton on Saturday to delay their arrival.
The 1,350-passenger ship will be arriving into Southampton almost twelve hours behind schedule due to adverse weather conditions in the North Sea, which has required the ship to reduce speed.
The ship, which is coming from Bergen, is estimated to dock at Southampton’s City Cruise Terminal at 5 p.m.
Guests are advised not to arrive at the terminal before 6:30 p.m. so that current passengers can disembark.
Balmoral is expected to depart later that evening on a 46-night ‘Central America & the Mardi Gras’ cruise, which will visit 18 ports of call, including two nights in New Orleans.
